Aisha Hinds is an American actor best recognized for her roles on the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her debut she has demonstrated her ability to perform in series like Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. Her first recognition came from her role as Anna in the film Assault on Precinct 13. Her first recognition came from her part in the 2005 biographical documentary All the Way. Hind received praise for her performance as Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historical drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television announced that the show will continue for an additional season. Hind completed filming recently for the Hollywood flick Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film is scheduled to release in the middle of 2019. She became the very first Indian actress to serve on the Cannes Film Festival's jury in the same year. Bachchan was featured in Gurinder Chedha's Bride and Prejudice. This ballet and musical adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is directed by Gurinder. The beauty and star power of Bachchan made her the perfect choice for the premier major film in English. She returned to Bollywood was for Dhoom: 2 2006 before she released Provoked A True Story (2006). In April 2007, she was married to Abhishek Bachchan a frequent co-star as well as the daughter of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan in a marriage that reunited two of India's most powerful personalities.
