Aisha Hinds is an American actor best recognized for her roles on the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her debut she has demonstrated her ability to perform in series like Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. Her first recognition came from her role as Anna in the film Assault on Precinct 13. Her first recognition came from her part in the 2005 biographical documentary All the Way. Hind received praise for her performance as Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historical drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television announced that the show will continue for an additional season. Hind completed filming recently for the Hollywood flick Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film is scheduled to release in the middle of 2019. Her mother Krishnaraj is an Army scientist who died in March of 2017 and the mother Vrinda is a homemaker. Aditya Rai, the elder brother, is a merchant marine engineer. Bachchan's older brother Aditya Rai wrote and co-produced Dil Ka Rishta along with their mother. Arya Vidya Mandir was the high school in which Bachchan was a student following her family's move to Mumbai. Her intermediate studies were completed through Jai Hind College for a year before enrolling at D.G. Ruparel College in Matunga where she was awarded a 99% mark on the H.S.C. exams. The time she spent in adolescence was filled with studying music and classical dance for five years. Her most loved course was Zoology. Bachchan was an undergraduate student in architecture when in 1994 she was chosen Miss World. The title helped her rise into the spotlight of modeling. She received lucrative positions with PepsiCo Inc. and Vogue magazine, as well as an ambassador contract with L'Oreal Paris in 2003. She starred in two celebrated roles: Iruvar and Aur pyaar Hogaia. Bachchan turned into the face of New Bollywood with these films which defied the basic Bollywood form of structure. Bachchan became the Queen of Bollywood with her portrayal of Paro the lover who was betrayed in Devdas, (2002). Devdas was one of Bollywood's biggest successes. It was also the first film that was screened at the Cannes Film Festival. Chokher bali (2003) was her next film that she won acclaim. It's a thriller inspired by Rabindranath Tagore's novel. She became the very first Indian actress to serve on the Cannes Film Festival's jury in the same year. Bachchan was featured in Gurinder Chedha's Bride and Prejudice. This ballet and musical adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is directed by Gurinder. The beauty and star power of Bachchan made her the perfect choice for the premier major film in English. She returned to Bollywood was for Dhoom: 2 2006 before she released Provoked A True Story (2006). In April 2007, she was married to Abhishek Bachchan a frequent co-star as well as the daughter of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan in a marriage that reunited two of India's most powerful personalities.
